A huge week for Beam with Hard Fork 4 taking place, bringing the latest network wide upgrades to the Beam ecosystem!

Hardfork = Success

The Beam Hard Fork rolled over last Friday, and although a moment of great suspense, everything ticked over without any issues. The chain is now fully upgraded and as such requires wallet releases 7.0 or above.

Now that the Hard Fork is behind us, time for the testing and deployment of Beam Dapps! The place for all Dapp testing prior to mainnet launch is the Beam Dapp Net. Currently running on the Dapp Net is both the Beam Governance Voting Dapp, and the NFT Gallery V 2.0. If you haven’t already, download the Dapp Net wallet, get some test $BEAM from the faucet, and get testing!

The Dapps will be coming thick and fast, with BANS - Beam Anonymous Name Service - gearing up for testing, with the bridge, and a stable coin set to follow. Huge things to come, so stay tuned!
