Beam 2020 Week #44 - A Mobile Addition
Covering October 26th - November 1st 2020
A wicked week for Beam with the latest releases dropping for both Android and iOS. Along with that we took part in a great AMA with Binance, bringing many a new Beamer to the community. Overall, another busy week, so let’s dive it!
Mobile 5.1 Release
The latest releases came our way in the form of Eager Electron 5.1 for Android and iOS. The release brought with it Offline transactions to mobile.
Users can now easily send to offline addresses, and start receiving to them by connecting their mobile wallets with their own nodes. Along with the updates came many a bug fix, further adding to the best mobile wallet experience there is!
Beam + Binance + AMA = ️🔥️🔥️🔥
The AMA event took place in the Binance Telegram channel, with many a new and old Beamers joining in. The event was broken into three sections: intro, quiz, and questions from the community. As always, Romanov gave some great insights into what is happening with Beam and where we are heading.
That being said, given the plethora of questions, it was not possible to get to them all… Lucky for us, we have diligent supporters that don’t let such things get passed. NuMorlock hit us with a highlight of missed questions, along with some of his own, which prompted it’s very own Beam Pulse NuMorlock edition!
Alex takes us through the questions in depth, giving a great breakdown of those missed. We have some exciting Beam Pulse and Beam Talk episodes coming up, so if you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to Beam TV!
