A busy week for Beam as we get back on track and approach full speed ahead! A lot coming up with DAO voting on it’s way, Dapps set to bring privacy to DeFi, and an all round ecosystem upgrade! What better way to bring everyone up to speed than a community call! So community call we shall have!…

Community Call

As the year progresses a lot is on the cards. We will be having another community call coming next Monday. Be sure to join to see what is install for Beam, discuss confidential Dapps in the works, and what to expect when.

As always, the community call will be a great chance to tune in and catch up with the Beam team and share any feedback you have. A lot to discuss on current developments and upcoming releases so see you there!

Research and Development!

The Bridge development is well under way with the audit set to begin shortly. A key component to the Beam ecosystem that requires the utmost of attention given the security implications.

The next Beam release will be 7.0. This will pack a punch and come with some wicked updates and features. More on this will be shared in the community call so be sure to attend!

There will be an upcoming Beam Hardfork, yet to be announced. The network upgrade will bring with it some extra functionality in the 7.0 release.

Beam NFT Gallery features were released last week.

New gallery features include:

• Added the ability to update the NFT sell price

• Remove artwork from the NFT Marketplace

• Artwork Details Page that displays an NFT's Trading History

• Extended Gallery Filters. Scan through the NFT Gallery Marketplace using new filters

• Much Improved Price Dialog. Now works with copy/paste (CTRL+C/CTRL+V), cleaner Disabled State

This is a step towards the full V2 marketplace release that is expected after the future hardfork!
