Midway through the first month of 2022, and things are on track for a wicked year! It was kicked of with a boom and a bang and things are just getting started. With the BeamX phase 1 staking campaign nearing completion comes more exciting opportunities to participate in the Beam Confidential DeFi ecosystem! Before all that let us dive in and check out some of the updates from the week that was!
BeamNFT Making Waves!
A big shout out to the crew at BeamNFT. They are well and truly making waves, bringing some valuable content for Beamers new and old!

Web Wallet
The Beam Web Wallet came under some stress in recent weeks due to a high level of demand. This led to some unexpected issues that are currently being investigated, with a fix on the way. There is also an upgrade around the corner to improve reliability and usability for the Beamers making the most of the Web Wallet!
DAO Core Voting
As you know, one of the integral parts moving forward in the Beam ecosystem is the decentralising of governance. For this to be a reality, the DAO needs a way to vote on the various issues that arise and parameters that need consideration. The BeamX DAO Voting Guidelines are up to gain feedback from the community, and make any tweaks that are needed before the launch of the governance contracts and interface.
Beam DAO Core Voting is expected to be alive and a thriving come early February! Right in time for the upcoming Confidential DeFi applications… Rumour has it the Confidential Stablecoin and DEX are around the corner! 👀
Staking!
The BeamX initial staking campaign is nearing completion, with us entering the last days to catch some unadulterated BeamX! It has seen huge support and confidence from the community, with the numbers continuing to rise since the contracts went live! Future opportunities for staking and farming will follow shortly after the completion of the current phase!
