A lot on the cards for Beam over the last week, and much more coming! With the 7.2 release getting ready for mainnet and the first decentralised stablecoin and bridges gearing up to launch, there is a lot to look forward to. Let us dive in and check it all out!
Beam Trivia Night
This weeks Beam Space will be a special one! We will be having our very own Trivia Night. We will be hosting the Trivia night in the weekly space, firing out questions on all things Beam to those that join and listen carefully. Answers will need to be Tweeted in reply to the Spaces thread, and the fastest, closest, or funniest answers will take home some Beams.
But wait, there’s a catch!
Beamers will need to provide an address in their Tweet with their answer, but not just any address… Beamers MUST share a BANS address in order to receive Beams!

Development
For those that missed it the Beam Swap party was a great chance to get up to speed with the 7.2 release that is live on the DAPP Net and set for mainnet release very soon!
Beam Bridge
One of the key components to the Beam ecosystem is right around the corner, with the Beam bridges set for launch on DAPP Net in the coming days. The bridge will provide the means to bring assets from Ethereum chain to the Beam network as Confidential Assets, being able to transfer and trade all with the same stellar privacy as Beam. Stay tuned for the DAPP Net launch!
Nephrite
The first stablecoin set to launch on Beam is here, and already on DAPP Net!
For those that haven’t already, be sure to check out the Nephrite application now on DAPP Net. You can use test Beam to open collateralised debt positions, issuing the confidential stablecoin $NPH.
The Nephrite team has expressed their desire to join the BEAMX Dao, and use $BEAMX as reward for those contributing to the stability pool. This will offer a great chance to reward those users actively contributing to one of the foundational Dapps in the Beam Ecosystem. Discussions will take place surrounding this on the Beam forum, Before conducting onchain voting to ascertain if Beamx will be allocated to bootstrap the Nephrite stability pool.
Rust Development
A huge shoutout to Zachary for the ongoing efforts on the Rust development front. They have put together some tooling to better allow Rust Devs to build for the BVM.
Check it out, show some love, and hit them with any feedback you have.

Beam Space
The last Beam Space was a blast. We took a look at the different address structures in Beam, along with the different transaction types. Romanov also spoke of the upcoming Bounty programs and BeamX grants to incentivise outside development, and what to expect from Beam in the near future.
