Beam News!
Much on the cards for Beam in the coming weeks, with a little quiet before the storm. With bridges, DEX, and Nephrite gearing up for launch, we share some other bits from Beam this week. A few things to cover so let us dive in and check it all out!
Beam Hardware Wallet!
Over the years Beam team has always pushed for Hardware wallet support, via both Trezor and Ledger. This has been met with large difficulties due to the nature of HW wallets and also the underlying Mimblewimble protocol that is the backbone of Beam. It is with great pleasure that we let you all know that the efforts for adding HW wallet support for Beam are pushing forward.
The current efforts are towards that of the Nano Ledger (S & Nano). The aim is to have initial support for simple transactions, and later explore the possibility to add support for Smart Contract interactions.

7.2XX
The latest Beam release is around the corner, bringing with it in-wallet custom controls for Confidential Assets. These brings the lates Beam Feature Requests to Beam mainnet in line with the latest initiatives to further decentralised Beam.
Beam Dev
One of the more recent development initiatives is that of a unified frontend for those building on Beam. This would offer ready made UI components for things such as active Confidential Asset lists and pricing feeds. These would help speed up the time and reduce the efforts for development of decentralised applications. This will be part of a wider push for a Beam Software Developer Kit (SDK).
Beam Space
The last Beam Space was a blast! We covered Confidential Assets and checkmarks, the 7.2XX release and CA abilities, along with the SCAM DAPP and provably capped supplies. Check it out!
