A busy month as usual at Beam, with Beam Warp testing and Beam Explorer fine-tuning underway. The goal with Beam Warp is to push Solana-level transaction speeds and scalability, and introduce it to Beam’s privacy-preserving blockchain.
The best private-by-default DeFi ecosystem is set to become a whole lot better!
Development Updates
Beam Warp
Deployed updated “Dappnet2/L2_test1” networks
Fixed fee estimation for L2 bridge contract
Node/bridge: fixed multisig ritual (identifying the challenge to answer)
Explorer: added an option to show block number column
Updated Fly Client in PBFT
Fixed bug where a non-validator node was not able to connect to the network
Updated Explorer Parser to make L1 <> L2 bridge events and validator punishments human readable
Testing Wallet Widgets for the CLI Beam Wallet (e.g. "Nephrite Widget" will read and output the “$BEAM” price from the Nephrite oracle and print the “$NPH” supply)
Beam Experimental Explorer/Explorer HTML v0.8:
New "adj" node parameter, for “cannibalized” blocks heights in PBFT chains.
Enabled switching between networks (mainnet, dappnet, etc.).
Added a network option in URL parameters.
Added a popup to select explorer nodes to query.
Added “network" parameter in all links of the "Historical Blocks" page.
Added extra <script> tags to improve code organization.
Added more information in the "About" section.
Minor adjustments to code and comments.
